Classic Post - Pondering Perfection from October 14, 2005
December 11, 2007 – 9:24 pmAs I was going through my original blog called Pondering Perfection, I came across my favorite post. So, I thought I’d reminisce with you by sharing it.
I had a lesson in theology today from my four year-old daughter. We were playing Candyland. She was so intent on being first and stacking the deck so she would win. I wanted to try and teach her that winning and being first is not so important. I tried the “Jesus says in the Bible that the last shall be first.” She told me, “her girl Jesus in her girl Bible says that she should go first and win!”
I think I am going to be in trouble later (or maybe I already am)!
In the end, she came up with the idea that if we were going to change the rules, we’d do it so that everyone could win together.

I was so happy to see you were able to teach
the kids about the jewish traditions,I so enjoy
that my children and grandchildren coming from
a multi-regligous background understand the many loving faces of OUR LORD and how we each
celebrate HIM in each of our faiths.
It was also great to know that my gifts was put
to such a wonderful use.
We all need to learn inorder to understand that
the differences between us are not as great as one would think.
