Footprints of Jesus.
December 17, 2007 – 10:44 amI am always looking for opportunities to talk about faith with my children. I’d like to share one of my latest with you.
Background: We are using Linux (openSUSE) on our computers for many reason included in the About Me page. Because Linux is an open source operating system there are many deferent variants of everything, including Desktop applications. Gnome and KDE are the two major GUI desktop environments that a user might choose. Typically, I have chosen KDE with faster computers, but often opt for Gnome with slower computers because it seems to run a little faster.
So, my kids use a Pentium III (like 800 Mhz) with the Gnome desktop environment. The other day, my son (the 4 year old) was watching the computer boot and load all the applications when the Gnome symbol popped up.

Reason 472 for using Linux: He recognized it as Jesus’ footprint…
