New Year’s Eve in the Middle of 12 Days of Excitment.
December 31, 2007 – 5:25 pmWell we are half way through the 12 days celebration and every morning the kids wake up with the same excitement about opening their gift for the day! It is a lot of fun. We have had a few lessons about appreciation and patience. We’ve had devotions and Christmas celebrations.
During my quiet time in this Christmas season, I have been reflecting on New Years resolutions. I think any opportunity for a fresh start is a good one. It can be any Sunday; a Holy day like Christmas; a birthday; or any other time that becomes significant for an individual. This year I am resolving to complete two things: (1) I want to be consistent on a daily basis with Bible reading and devotional time with my children and (2) I want to complete a half-Ironman triathlon.
What are your thoughts on New Year’s resolutions?
Are you making any, if so what are they?
