The Bookshelf.

April 20, 2008 – 5:35 am

I haven’t been reading much outside of Christian material for awhile, but I’ve picked up four books that I am excited about.  I have started reading Predictably Irrational: The Hidden Forces That Shape Our Decisions by Dan Ariely.  The more I read the more I notice how much I have missed the thinking and mental exercise.  I am excited to get into the others.

I tried to pick books that are in my interest zones like psychology (Predictably Irrational) , cutting edge physics (Physics of the Impossible: A Scientific Exploration into the World of Phasers, Force Fields, Teleportation, and Time Travel by Michio Kaku), and addictions (Beautiful Boy: A Father’s Journey Through His Son’s Meth Addiction by David Sheff).  I did pick up one popular theological book (The Reason for God: Belief in an Age of Skepticism by Timothy Keller).

What are you reading?
