The Intersections of Life [14:09m]: This weeks message was entitled, “The Intersection of Life.” I focused on the healing of the blind men in Matthew 9:27-30, where Jesus says “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” and said, “According to your faith will it be done to you.” The two points I was going for are that we should not let the possibilities for life be limited by arbitrary anchors and that by creating intersections with God through the spiritual disciples, God’s power can abound in our lives.

I verbally explained the clip from Facing the Giants because I determined that the clip (6 minutes) was too long to show in worship, but I thought that it was perfect because of the blind-fold. I feel that this really highlighted how we can allow things that we take for granted can hold us back and how the blind men in the story were not afforded the luxury of sight.
