The Evil Within
October 6, 2008 – 8:02 pmI have super children. They are happy. They don’t let things get them down. They display God’s love and grace all over the place. I have a child that is super when you have his attention. Focused, he is like a little mensa - and sweet as can be. Yet, when you let him go without anything to do or without any constructive focus, he’ll sit for a little bit and before you know it he is plotting some kind of mess. He would tell you (after denying that he did it) that it was all part of his beautiful plan to make the house seem a little warmer.
I wonder if sometiimes when we adults keep busy, not allowing any down time, if it is a way of not dealing with our own destructive tendencies or the evil within.
